Completely agree with you. E-commerce, word processing, search is already integrated. They just need to crack social media and majority of the tasks performed online will seamlessly integrate into ChatGPT. Meta is another dark horse in this race.
I think Meta’s advantage is its user base and its lead in hardware. But ChatGPT is likely closing in on 1 billion users and likely has much richer data, since people tell their chatbot more than their social feed, and more honest stuff too.
I think a social offering from OpenAI is coming soon, though not clear yet how it will look. Probably AI-first and designed so they can capture signals from things like likes and engagement.
